A building reflects the journey of a human life. It awakens with a simple idea and gradually takes shape through exchange and development. Just like a human being, it faces challenges, adapts to unexpected twists and turns and strives to realise its full potential.
As it grows, there are many obstacles that threaten progress. The ever-changing times require flexibility, adaptability and resilience.
When persistence and caution pay off and you reach your intended life expectancy without losing functionality and coherence, the feeling of success must be fulfilling.
I devote all my energy to this goal in my work. To me, it is evident that the success of any project depends on interdisciplinary collaboration in which everyone involved works together as equals. Every aspect must be carefully considered; situational conditions, functionality, construction and expression must mutually stimulate and influence each other.
In my role as an architect, I see the responsible and intelligent use of our finite resources in balance with the constant demand of greater prosperity, higher living standards and more consumption as fundamental to overcoming the challenges of the future.
